NOTE: As this collection of classic tales of female vampires dates back to the Victorian era (and earlier), there are (based on Shannon Delany's current research) no women writers of female vampires to be included due to the cultural mores of the time. Is that unfortunate? YES. Oppression always is, and history is full of oppression.
